Safety data sheets are instructions on how to handle potentially hazardous substances. According to the EU directives, those safety data sheets have to be issued before circulating these substances.
Safety data sheets contain information on the possible health impacts they might cause. They give information on which safety measures have to be observed when working with a certain product.

In order to simplify the handling, all SCHMELZMETALL alloys were sub-divided into categories. For each category there is only one safety data sheet which contains all relevant information.
